The hotel is an oasis of green in the middle of the city. Gorgeous landscaping, sit out areas and cozy rooms. But what truly stands out is the exceptional service (quintessentially Oberoi) and the eye for detail. Every single person you interact with at the hotel is focused on making your stay memorable. Highly recommended, for business and leisure.

When we first visited this hotel, we were so impressed that we decided to celebrate our son’s birthday here. So, we went there within 3 weeks of our first visit. In our first visit, we celebrated EID festival there and our stay was full of surprises. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The Executive Chef, Mr. Anirban Dasgupta, prepared a special Bengali Dinner for us. He is a gem of a person. Apart from that, Jonaki and Leah from front desk team, Animesh Gautam & Yogesh from Housekeeping, Avni, Prateek Gulati and Archana Das from F&B team, all of them made our stay memorable. Unfortunately, this time, the hospitality was very cold. Our stay started with good note, like they upgraded us to a nice suite room, provided complimentary birthday cake and the room was nicely decorated with Balloons (as requested). But, that warm hospitality or rather I will say the personal touch was missing this time. The main problem we faced in our breakfast. No one attended our table for almost 10-15 mins. Bowls were empty, no glasses to take juices, bad quality watermelon juice (bitter taste) and so on. Luckily, few staff recognized us from our last visit, and they saved our day. This is a very contrasting experience within a span of 3 weeks. This experience forced me to reduce the rating from 5 star to 3 star. I felt, I could have booked another hotel to celebrate our son’s birthday. Important info: - The hotel is very beautiful, and the 125 years old raintree enhanced its beauty. - All the staff were helpful and polite. - They have a well-maintained swimming pool. We enjoyed a lot there. - Apart from issues I have mentioned above, other food items were tasty. - Bed was very comfortable, not to soft and not to hard. The pillows were comfortable. - The suite room was big enough, with a separate living room and a large washroom with a bathtub and separate shower cubicle. One small washroom also there in living area. - Great location. Just 300 meters from Trinity metro station. So, within 10 mins you can reach MG road and church-street area, which is one of the happening places in Bengaluru. - Few good restaurants are there just opposite to the hotel. - Rooms were completely soundproof. We might not go again to celebrate any special day at Oberoi Bangalore.

The service was top notch, food was excellent at the restaurant Lapis. Room was beautiful with scenic views. Room had all the modern amenities. There was a TV inside the bathroom, which can be viewed from your bathtub. They even gifted toys to our one year old. Overall, we had a great time. Looking forward to going back again for a staycation.

My luggage was delayed when I arrived the staff went the extra mile to ensure I have what I needed to make my stay comfortable. They also picked up my luggage when it finally arrived from the airport and delivered it to my room. A responsibility that I would have expected the airline to handle, but the Oberoi team insisted on taking care of it. Love this hotel and I am a fan for life.
